October Air Event Summary

For many reasons, the October 24, 2014 Celebration Event was the most successful event yet at Jasper Highlands.

A few highlights...

  • The autumn weather was fantastic....seasonably warm during the day, cooling a bit by sundown.
  • A large crowd attended the Event, comprised primarily of Jasper Highlands property owners, guests of Jasper Highlands from 12 states, along with Marion County and Tennessee government officials.
  • Everyone enjoyed fellowship, great food, the chocolate fountain and the band, Pointe South, which entertained the crowd with traditional Tennessee mountain music.

  • Prior to the meal, U. S. Senator Bob Corker and owner-developer of Jasper Highlands John Thornton led a group that officially broke ground on the new pavilion at Pat's Summitt. The new pavilion will be a scenic gathering place for residents and property owners of Jasper Highlands to meet with friends and family.
  • Helicopter rides over the Plateau. Several guests signed up for this aerial look at the Cumberland Plateau which is flanked on three sides by picturesque valleys. Sequatchie Valley to the east, Tennessee River Valley to the southeast, and Raulston Cove to the west.
  • President of TNLand.com Dane Bradshaw made the announcement that there will soon be a new community pool at Inspiration Park in Jasper Highlands.
