You Just Have to See This...

I often receive questions about the natural features and amenities of Jasper Highlands. Discussions typically revolve around the new road (Jasper Highlands Boulevard), the water source for the properties (city water), the power source for the homes (underground electric), or on-site amenities like Pat's Summitt, Inspiration Park, or Rocky Top Trail. Invariably however, the discussion will eventually focus on the views.

You may recall that there is already a Fence Post entry emphasizing the views of Jasper Highlands. But now that there are two new sections of Jasper Highlands available, I felt it would be prudent to again turn our attention to the dominant feature of Jasper Highlands, the incredible views.

The wide array of Mother Nature's finest Tennessee showpieces in Jasper Highlands is made possible by the topography and location of the Cumberland Plateau, more specifically the southern portion of the Plateau as it shares space with the confluence of the Sequatchie Valley and Tennessee River Valley just west of Chattanooga. This unique combination makes for some magnificent scenery.

When folks ask me "Which view do you prefer?", I express to them how difficult a question that really is, that some of the scenes must be seen to be truly appreciated. In this post, I will share my favorite scenes from vantage points around Phase 1B East and Phase 1B West of Jasper Highlands.
